The Centre is driven by and for women and trans people who use the space – undergrad and grad students, alumni, staff and community members. We have two full-time staff members as well as a dedicated group of people that make up the Collective.
The Collective is the central organizing committee and the main decision-making body of the Centre. The Collective gets together regularly to plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Centre, as well as planning and strategizing ways to meet long term goals.
Our operating budget is made up of a levy we receive from students each year, moneys raised through fundraising events as well as any contributions we may receive. The Centre operates in accordance with our Collective Agreement with CUPE 1281, the Centre’s Constitution and policy written by past and present Collective.
